This project is a storybook web app where a kid-friendly Next.js frontend (with CopilotKit and ag-ui) chats with a Python FastAPI + LangChain agent that generates short animal tales using Gemini, emits shared state for rich UI updates, and can be extended to stream text, show curated story cards, and add optional features like illustration and narration, all wrapped in a whimsical “storybook” experience with dedicated kid/parent routes and supporting components, storage, and tests.

We built the entire product during the hackathon. No prior codebase, designs, or assets were reused beyond standard open‑source libraries and frameworks (e.g., Next.js, FastAPI, LangChain, CopilotKit). Any third‑party services or APIs were used as intended and are publicly available
